QuickGix Cancellation Policy
At QuickGix, we aim to provide a seamless and reliable service experience for both our customers and service providers. To ensure transparency and fairness, we have established the following cancellation policy:
1. Customer Cancellations
1.1 General Cancellation Policy
- Customers can cancel a booking up to 24 hours before the scheduled service time without any penalty.
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service time will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the service cost.
1.2 Emergency Cancellations
- In cases of emergencies (e.g., medical emergencies, accidents), customers can request a waiver of the cancellation fee by providing appropriate documentation. QuickGix will review such requests on a case-by-case basis.
1.3 No-Show Policy
- If a customer does not show up for the scheduled service without prior cancellation, they will be charged 100% of the service cost.
- Repeated no-shows may result in the suspension or termination of the customer's account.
2. Service Provider Cancellations
2.1 General Cancellation Policy
- Service providers must notify QuickGix and the customer of any cancellations at least 24 hours before the scheduled service time.
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service time will result in a penalty fee of 20% of the service cost, which will be credited to the customer’s account.
2.2 Emergency Cancellations
- In cases of emergencies (e.g., medical emergencies, accidents), service providers can request a waiver of the penalty fee by providing appropriate documentation. QuickGix will review such requests on a case-by-case basis.
2.3 No-Show Policy
- If a service provider does not show up for the scheduled service without prior cancellation, they will be charged a penalty fee of 50% of the service cost, which will be credited to the customer’s account.
- Repeated no-shows may result in the suspension or termination of the service provider’s account.
3. Refunds and Credits
3.1 Customer Refunds
- Refunds for cancellations made within the policy guidelines will be processed within 7-10 business days.
- Refunds for emergency cancellations will be processed within 7-10 business days upon approval of the waiver request.
3.2 Customer Credits
- Customers will receive credits for penalty fees charged to service providers for cancellations and no-shows. These credits can be applied to future bookings.
3.3 Service Provider Payments
- Service providers will receive payment for completed services as per the agreed terms.
- Payments may be adjusted to account for any penalties incurred due to cancellations or no-shows.
4. Modifications and Rescheduling
4.1 Modifications
- Customers can modify their booking details (e.g., service type, date, time) up to 24 hours before the scheduled service time without any penalty.
- Modifications made within 24 hours of the scheduled service time will incur a modification fee of 10% of the service cost.
4.2 Rescheduling
- Customers can reschedule their booking up to 24 hours before the scheduled service time without any penalty.
- Rescheduling within 24 hours of the scheduled service time will incur a rescheduling fee of 10% of the service cost.
5. Policy Enforcement and Changes
5.1 Enforcement
- QuickGix reserves the right to enforce this cancellation policy strictly to ensure a fair and reliable service experience for all users.
5.2 Changes to Policy
- QuickGix may update this cancellation policy from time to time. Any changes will be communicated to customers and service providers via email and the QuickGix platform.
